Pastel Pink

It is approximately 1.24am right now and we are still up, wriggling through online boutiques and uploading some advertisements for the site (check out luvmydresses ad banner on top, they are extending their sale!), we've decided to drop in with two little pastel pink somethings that we found.

Did you realise that Pastel Pink is one of the few colours which looks superbly good on females but not on males? And if the colour is on a male, it makes them look "G"ay? Well, we love pink alot as it represents femininity and we only think that it looks really good on guys who are tan enough to pull off that colour. So if your hunk is tan enough, get him a polo collared tee in pastel pink. He might just look extremely hot!

GET WAXED!

OK, if you’re a conservative, shy person…Don’t read this post.

Then again, maybe you should.

If you know what a Bikini Wax is, GREAT!
If you don’t, well NO it’s not something you use to make your Bikini/swimsuit shine and glimmer under the sun…It’s actually a process that involves removing hair from a certain part of your body. (Not your hands or arms or neck or chest or back or legs or armpits or face or head)

Here are the 3 common variants of Bikini Waxing that you can and perhaps should experience sometime:

American waxing – Otherwise known as a basic Bikini wax, it removes the hair on the thighs and below the naval. (doesn’t sound so bad does it?)

French waxing – A little bit more extreme, you basically get the “treatment” in the pubic area, leaving a small “strip” of hair. Also as an option, is the removal of hair in the “lower areas” hence its alternative names, the Playboy Wax or G-Wax. (Get it?)

Brazilian waxing – Is the whole nine yards and removes everything from front to back, from the pubic area to the “lower” areas, up until the buttocks. Very, very much needed in case you’re a thong bikini lover. (Still don’t get it?)

Please Help! Missing Siblings last seen at Sri Putramas, Jalan Kuching

Dear Readers,

We are very distraught by the fact that, more children are missing despite the number of awareness campaigns and countless articles generated to the public.

Parents were advised to keep an eye on their children at all times and we still hear news of children going missing every single day. We really hope that parents are more aware of their surroundings and to hold on to their children at all times. Children gone missing is an extreme matter where they have a high chance of not coming home at all.

So, please!! Please take this as a very serious matter and DO NOT allow your children to run around outside the house perimeters alone or unescorted. This can highly reduce the chances of a stranger walking and talking to them. Also, tell your children how they CANNOT talk to strangers and how to call for help if they were being approached. They might not understand, but find a way to explain to them how they will get into trouble if they do talk to a stranger without you being around.

We hope to make our world and the future a safer place for the next generation of our kind, and we hope that you will also have the heart to help spread the news of these missing children.

IKEA’s Sweeeeedish Meatballs!

We don’t need to tell you what IKEA is.

Neither do we need to tell you just how engaging their second to none showrooms are.
We won’t even go on about their affordable prices nor do we feel the need to criticize some of their products to be slightly lacking in quality.

Instead, we want to tell you about their irresistibly good Swedish Meatballs!!
If you’ve been to the IKEA at the Ikano Power Centre, then you must have come across the IKEA restaurant in the heart of the store.

The IKEA restaurant serves all sorts of Swedish inspired dishes from meatballs to poached salmon. There are also some “safer” items on the menu to accommodate for those who don’t feel like going too “Swedish”. However, we are compelled to again tell you how much we love those Swedish meatballs!



They are available in either a 5 or 10 piece platter, and are priced at RM5 and RM10 respectively (After a complex mathematical calculation process, we’ve discovered they cost RM1 per ball!)

Of course their not served plain as their accompanied by a really good brown sauce (not sure of it’s Swedish or not), a berry-like sauce (which seems weird but is actually good), and a serving of French fries (definitely not Swedish) to complete the meal!



Another superb yet undeniably simple item in their menu is the Ham and Cheese Sandwich. As the name suggests, it is in fact a Ham and Cheese Sandwich. For some reason it just tastes really good.

Fortunately, the items on their menu haven’t been named the same way their furniture is named. Would be weird if their meatballs were called “Kottboll” (which is in fact a direct translation of meat-ball in Swedish).

And on that note, we bid you adjo! (Goodbye in Swedish)

Lets talk a little thing or two about Tiovivo Design and what we love about them.

Tiovivo Design, a remarkable blogshop that we came across, which has a very unique style in branding their fashionable wear. We were so immersed in their fun pictures that we actually took our time to look through their whole blog. Needless to say, their photos are excellent. Combined by the brains and skills of 4 individual designers, who have the same love in having reasons to stay up late, and wanting to make the world a better place, comes Tiovivo Design.

When we were looking for more information on the brains behind Tiovivo Design, we read on their side panel that they themselves had no idea why they started the business in the first place. It was merely by instinct, that they came up with Tiovivo Design and they have indeed proven to be one of the best blogshop with the best photos we have came across so far. Pictures of the sea side and of other places such as Melaka town, portrayed nostalgia feeling for those who view them and that is something we totally love - a totally different theme from other blogshops and each picture does not have the same effect, in fact they made us want more.

Perfect Pedicures in 12 Simple Steps by Kate D'Imperio

Ever wanted to have the Perfect Pedicure but on a tight budget? We know what a great deal it is when it comes to having our toes look pretty when we want to show off those new heels we've got, therefore we found this DO IT YOURSELF Perfect Pedicure steps by Kate D'Imperio!



Materials:

+Basin or tub
+Foot Soak, Epsom salt or bath salts
+Pumice footstone
+Small brush
+Nail polish remover / cotton balls
+Nail polish
+Base coat for nails
+Top coat for nails
+Clippers
+File
+Orangewood stick (Cuticle stick)
+Lotion
+Foot scrub treatment

Whether you are in the mood to pamper yourself or just starting to get dolled up, a pedicure can be one of the most soothing and relaxing body treatments after a long day. If you find yourself surrounded by unavoidable stress factors day-to-day, wash your cares away with a pedicure!

Just follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Begin to fill a basin (or your bathtub) with several inches of warm water. Add desired amount of foot soak, bath salts or Epsom salt so that it dissolves in the water as the tub fills.

Step 2: While the tub is filling, remove any old polish from your toes with nail polish remover and cotton balls. If necessary, clip and file nails to desired shape and length.

Step 3: Grab a good book or magazine, turn on some music, or just sit back and enjoy the warm water on your tired feet. Soak for as long as you like, but at least 5-10 minutes.

Step 4: Using the small brush, gently buff one foot first and then the other. This will help to remove some dead skin cells and also to soften your feet.

Step 5: Using a foot scrub (Freeman�s makes a great one-Barefeet: Plum and Pumice foot scrub), massage the cream onto your feet, paying special attention to your heels and any rough spots. This will further soften and exfoliate.

Step 6: A pumice footstone can work wonders for dry and rough feet! Use this inexpensive extra to eliminate remaining rough spots. Dip feet after this step.

Step 7: Remove both feet from the tub and dry feet with towel. Massage your favorite lotion onto them. (Some companies even have a line of foot massage lotions!)

Step 8: Using orangewood stick, gently push your cuticles back along the nail. They should be supple due to the soaking.

Step 9: If you wish to paint your toenails, you can use toe separators to facilitate the process. Apply a base coat of nail polish to fill in the ridges and uneven surfaces. Base coats are generally clear or slightly opaque and they help to strengthen the nail to avoid breakage.

Step 10: Choose your desired shade of nail polish and apply. Allow first coat to dry and repeat. (Hint: For touch-ups, dip a Q-tip in the nail polish remover and gently swab away the unwanted color.)

Step 11: Apply a crystal-clear topcoat to add shine and to protect color from chipping.

Step 12: Enjoy your smooth, soft feet and beautified toes! You are now ready to sport your favorite sandals or cozy up at home in your comfiest slippers. Whatever the occasion, your feet will look and feel great!

Approximate Time Required: 45 minutes to an hour, depending on personal preference.

On a totally different note. It is a Sunday Afternoon and before we forget, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all Fathers in the whole wide world!

Sometime last week, we heard on Hitz.fm that today is supposed to be Mother's Day instead because fathers don't deserve to have a Father's Day when all they do is work hard to make us, and then mothers are the ones feeding, cleaning, playing, teaching, worrying, etc. but of course we think daddies work hard too.

Not only does he struggle at work, he comes home to play with us eventhough he is tired. He makes sure that we live a good life, teaches us how to be a good person, making sure that our childhood is a memorable one, be there whenever we need him. We think Daddies deserve to have a day too!!

So take your day off today to have some quality time with your daddy. It will totally make his day and for him to finally relax and have his children make him happy. Have fun, you guys!
